KC @ DEN – KC
Even with Mahomes leaving the game with a knee injury at the beginning of the second quarter, the Chiefs were still able to lead the Broncos by 24 points. Despite getting the first touchdown of the game, the Broncos were unable to answer the Chiefs.
OAK @ GB – GB
The final score of 42-24 gave GB another win making their record 6-1.
LAR @ ATL – LAR
No surprise here. ATL lost the game by 27 points. The 10 points they were able to get made the loss less embarrassing, but nonetheless, ATL was unable to hold back the Rams.
SF @ WAS – SF
The game was very muddy and without touch downs. SF won with three unanswered field goals. What’s surprising is how well WAS held off SF. Maybe it was the rain, maybe they’re defense is improving. Either way, SF continues their win streak to 6-0.
HOU @ IND –
The Colts ended the Texans win streak with a one posession game of 30-23. Coming off a bye week, IND was ready to win. With this upset, they became the number one team in the AFC South.
MIN @ DET – MIN
Despite making less passing yards, MIN left DET behind with a final score of 42 – 30. Against the Lions’s defense, Cousins was able to make four TD passes.
JAX @ CIN – JAX
JAX took off in the fourth quarter. They scored 18 points securing their 27-17 win. CIN remains win-less with a 0-7 record.
ARI @ NYG – ARI
Both teams are not the best. Yet, ARI was able to make two field goals that the Giants just couldn’t answer. ARI won the game by six points.
MIA @ BUF – BUF
MIA was able to score 21 points. However, they still have yet to win a game. BUF won 31-21.
LAC @ TEN –
With seven seconds left on the clock and at 3rd & 1, LAC could have gotten a touch down or gone to 4th down to kick the ball to tie the game and go into OT. But instead, LAC secured their lost with a fumble on TEN 0.
BAL @ SEA –
SEA entered this game 5-1, and BAL was 4-2. While they had close records, SEA had their home field. CenturyLink Field is known for being extra loud, but the Ravens didn’t falter to the noise. The home field advantage wasn’t enough for the Seahawks to win.
NO @ CHI – NO
The Saints scored 36 points, and the Bears didn’t give up. They were able to score 15 points in 1:43 helping them catch up. Unfortunately, the Saints were too far ahead. Ending with 36-25, the Saints became 6-1.
PHI @ DAL – DAL
3-3 to 3-3 the game seemed like it was nicely matched. However, DAL was able to bounce out of their losing streak with big win. A final score of 37 – 10, and DAL is now number one in the NFC East with PHI coming in second.
NE @ NYJ – NE
Even though there were two minutes left on the clock and they were down 33 points, the Jets kept playing. Maybe they were hoping for a less embarrassing loss. The first time the Jets played the Patriots this season, they were able to actually score. But this time, they remained off the score board. NE left New York 33-0.
