SF @ ARI – SF
This matchup had the first place team against the last place team in the division. ARI debuted Kenyan Drake, who got ARI’s first touch down of the game. Unfortunately, Drake wasn’t enough to secure a win for the Cardinals. The Niners won by three. SF is now the only undefeated team in the NFL.
HOU @ JAX – HOU
In London, HOU and JAX met again. However, this time, it wasn’t a one-point game. HOU took home a 23 point win.
CHI @ PHI –
At half time, Chicago only had nine net yards and six possessions and dragged behind by 12. However, in the second half, they got back into the game. Montgomery scored two TD’a closing the gap to one possession. Unfortunately, the Bears lost by eight due to a field goal.
MIN @ KC –
Without Mahomes, KC was able to get a win against a top ranked defense. The teams seemed to take turns scoring. In this upset, for one TD, Hill ran 22.6mph in the third quarter along side Williams, who ultimately scored the TD. And in the last three seconds of the game, KC kicked a field goal to win by three.
IND @ PIT –
PIT is now 4-4. Barely beating IND in an upset, they pulled ahead by two. Unfortunately to the Colts, their kicker Vinatieri missed a crucial field goal. Instead of winning by one point, they lost by two.
NYJ @ MIA –
This upset was Miami’s first win of the season. Entering the 4th quarter, they had a nine point lead. The Jets now have only won one game the entire season. After beating the Dallas Cowboys, it seemed like the Jets were on the up, however, they handed MIA a win. The Jets now have a three-game losing streak.
WAS @ BUF – BUF
Dwayne Haskins made his NFL starting debut against the Redskins. The Bills scored three touch downs and steadily stayed in the lead, bring the Bills to 6-2. WAS remains with one win.
TEN @ CAR – CAR
Prior to this game, the Titans only allowed three rushing touch downs. However, they gave their fourth to McCaffrey. That was McCaffrey’s ninth rushing touch down of the season and third touch down of the day. At the beginning of the fourth quarter, he lead the NFL in touch downs. Both teams started the game each with four wins. Now, Carolina is 5-3, and Tennessee is 4-5.
DET @ OAK – OAK
In a close game, OAK won by one possession. DET had one more first down than OAK and more yards, but it was OAK’s rushing game that gave them more possession time. The five more minutes of ball time lead the Raiders to a win.
TB @ SEA – SEA
Going into over time with 34-34, Seattle was able to score a touch down sealing their seventh win this season. TB answered every point SEA made. Yet, in OT, SEA was the first to score.
GB @ LAC –
The Chargers were on fire. Going against one of the top teams, it was predicted the Chargers would land on the bottom. But they surprised everyone and caused an upset by holding on to a strong lead. GB finally managed a field goal in the third quarter, but by fourth quarter, LAC was up by 16. Green Bay did get a touch down in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to win.
CLE @ DEN –
Going into the game, both teams has two wins under them. Cleveland had more 1st downs, more yards, more plays, and more possession time. Yet, Denver had more average passing, rushing, and receiving yards per play. Denver’s defense tackled 78 times compared to Cleveland’s 34 tackles. DEN’s defense was able to give Brandon Allen and the offense the ball enough times for the win.
NE @ BAL –
The New England Patriots are no longer undefeated. The Ravens worked hard to hold them back in this upset. Prior to this game, the NE defense was the best. They only allowed four offensive touch downs in the first half of the season. But tonight, BAL scored four touch downs! Baltimore is a good team, and they were one of the harder teams the Patriots played so far. Even with this loss, NE is still number one in the AFC. And BAL is number one in the AFC North.
DAL @ NYG – DAL
Unsurprisingly, Dallas won yet another game. DAL won by 19 points Monday night in a 37-18 game, which was eerily similar to week one when they played each other. That game ended 35-17 DAL.
