LAC @ OAK – LAC
Both teams have won four games, and certainly they’ll be looking for their fifth W. Last week, the Chargers were able to upset GB by 15 points. GB has an impressive defense and offense, and yet, the Charges kept them at bay. Perhaps with Oakland’s defense constantly allowing points, the LAC will win.
NYG @ NYJ – NYG
Both team aren’t great. Yet, NYG are slightly, slightly better. The Giants are able to score more points than the Jets, but they do allow more points. Either way, New York will win.
ATL @ NO – NO
New Orleans is a top dog in the league. They allow about 20 points on average per game, and score on average more than 24 points per game. They’ve also only lost one game, making their record 7-1 while ATL is 1-7.
KC @ TEN – KC
Even without Mahomes, KC is able to win. Matt Moore has stepped up and helped secure their win last week against the Vikings. TEN may allow significantly fewer points, but they allow almost as many yards as KC. We expect KC to win this one.
CAR @ GB – GB
After losing last week to the Chargers, the Packers will surely be looking to bounce back with a win. GB allows fewer points on average compared to CAR, so with one of the best defenses, they should hold back Carolina. However, we do expect the game to be high scoring.
BAL @ CIN – BAL
CIN is the last win-less team this season, and BAL is the only team to beat the NE Patriots. We expect a shut out here with Baltimore seizing yet another win.
ARI @ TB – TB
Arizona has as many wins as they do ties while Tampa Bay has two wins. Evenly matched, this game will most likely be high scoring given they both allow around 30 points per game. However, TB is able to score more than ARI has so far this season.
BUF @ CLE – BUF
Entering with a 2-6 record, CLE will try their best, but most likely will lose against BUF who has six wins this season. CLE may get more passing yards, but they lack in rushing yards compared to BUF. Combine that with a weaker defense, and CLE will most likely go 2-7 after this week.
DET @ CHI – CHI
CHI is due for a win…Maybe against DET, they’ll be able to pull it off. Last week’s second half seemed more promising. However, Trubisky can’t be relied on for consistent good plays and throws. DET allows about 10 more points per game than CHI, so hopefully a weak defense will cause CHI to end their losing streak.
MIA @ IND – IND
MIA had their first win last week against NYJ. Unfortunately for them, the Colts aren’t the Jets, so MIA will have a much harder time winning.
LAR @ PIT – LAR
The Rams aren’t the threat they were last season. But they still are good. With a better offense and defense, LAR should win against PIT this week. The Rams get about 80 more passing yards per game on average and about 10 more rushing yards. Their defense does allow about 20 points on average per game, so it will be their offense that cinches their win.
MIN @ DAL – MIN
Both good teams. Dallas has one of the best offenses in the league, and Minnesota has a strong defense. This game could go either way. But the JPI predicts MIN will come out on top due to the fact that they’ve played arguably harder teams.
SEA @ SF – SF
SF remains the only undefeated team in the NFL. While the Seahawks have only lost two games, they still allow twice as many points than SF. And that could be the causing factor to their loss this week.
