CHI 24 @ DET 20
CHI scored on their opening drive, and then DET on their first chance with the ball. The Bears consistently scored each quarter. Three touchdowns and one field goals secured their second win against the Lions this season.
BUF 26 @ DAL 15
BUF isn’t a bad team. They’re good. This under-rated team managed to hold back Dallas in a game 26-15. DAL is now 6-6, and BUF is 9-3.
NO 26 @ ATL 18
As expected, NO won. The Falcons’s luck has worn out, and they remain with three wins.
TEN 31 @ IND 17
In the third quarter, it was tied 17-17. Then TEN pulled off two touchdowns and beat the Colts.
SF 17 @ BAL 20
This game did not disappoint. The exciting first half had four touchdowns, and the second half only had two field goals. In the last seconds of the game, Tucker kicked the game-winning field goal for the Ravens. However, Gould had his chance with a game changing field goal earlier, only to have the Ravens tip the ball and cause it to miss.
NYJ 6 @ CIN 22
CIN is no longer winless. They won a game! In a surprising upset against the Jets, Andy Dalton’s return shows promise for the team’s future.
CLE 13 @ PIT 20
This matchup didn’t have a brawl like the last time these teams met. But it did end the reverse of the first game. This time PIT won.
PHI 31 @ MIA 37
The Dolphins won their third game of the season. This upset was one of the highest scoring games of the week, which was caused by at least 14 points scored each quarter. In the end, MIA scored six points more than PHI.
WAS 29 @ CAR 21
Upset alert! Washington beat Carolina by eight points. CAR only scored three touchdowns while Washington consistently got the ball in the endzone each quarter.
GB 31 @ NYG 13
No surprise here. Green Bay beat New York becoming 9-3.
TB 28 @ JAX 11
TB’s defense had one TD, five sacks, two INTs, and two FRs. They were strong and held back the Jaguars to 11 points. Their offense was on fire in the first quarter when they scored 15 of their 28 points.
LAR 34 @ ARI 7
Surely, ARI tries in their games. But against the Rams, it seems like they couldn’t stop them. The Rams started with a field goal in the first quarter and went on to score 31 points in the second and third quarters. And ARI scored the last points of the game in the fourth quarter getting themselves on the board.
OAK 9 @ KC 40
KC is back! They nicely cushioned their win with 31 points against OAK. After scoring 31 points in the first three quarters, perhaps they threw their opponents a bone in the last quarter and allowed the Raiders to score nine points. But KC made sure to keep the distance, and they also scored nine more points.
LAC 20 @ DEN 23
DEN started out strong and won. Scoring two touchdowns in the first quarter, a field goal in a second, and six more points in the fourth quarter was enough against the Chargers.
NE 22 @ HOU 28
The Texans firmly held their lead throughout the game. They entered the fourth quarter 21-9. NE answered 13 points in the fourth quarter, but they couldn’t catch up with HOU. The Texans are the second team this season to defeat the Patriots.
MIN 30 @ SEA 37
They started out strong. At halftime, the Vikings were up 17-10. But SEA was stronger in the second half. They scored 27 points compared to MIN’s 13. In the fourth quarter, things started to look up for MIN when they scored two touchdowns, but a missed extra point lost them the chance to tie the game with a field goal. So, SEA remained ahead by four. Then the Vikings lost the ball due to an incomplete on fourth down and from that point on, their fate was sealed. SEA scored another field goal that boost their win to seven points.
